What does music have to do with permaculture?  Permaculture is about sustainability and without love, nature and music, what’s the point of sustaining life?

old crow medacine show – wagon wheel

This is probably the most covered song I’ve heard live bands perform. I swear every week I was hearing it at shows for a while and rightly so. It’s brilliant!

the temptation of adam – josh ritter

This is one of my favorite songs of all time.  I LOVE the imagry and how he tells such a vivid story.  I also dig that he doesn’t have a chorus in this.

the curse – josh ritter

Here’s another one where Josh blows my mind.  Similar to The Temptation of Adam, he paints a picture of a love story in an unlikely circomstance in a beautiful way.  This song moves me emotionally more than any other song ever has.

The video is perfect.  There’s nothing in this song that could be improved in my opinion.

the indie queens are waiting – dan mangan

Dan is a super cool guy.  I love his lyrics and composition.  I’ve fallen in love with every song I’ve heard by him.  Also, the video was filmed at a cafe in Calgary, so props for that I guess
