Starter Permaculture is a page dedicated to documenting my entry into the permaculture world.  I hope that people will be able to look through this and benefit from my successes and avoid my mistakes.

I have not taken any design courses, however I have read heaps of articles and forums and watched countless videos on all things permaculture.  Obviously there is a lot to this technique, and I have no illusion whatsoever that I know it all.  This site isn’t meant to be a tutorial on how something should be done, but more a run through on what I’ve done right or wrong.

I live in a basement suite and therefore don’t own any land whatsoever, but I will be growing two very small urban gardens this year.  One will be for my fiancée’s mother and the other will be for my father.  Both sites are small and have different micro climates.
